I used to be up for the First Girl in Manufacturing award, alongside some severely robust competitors with seventy girls shortlisted throughout fourteen classes, together with the wonderful Julie Deane OBE, founder and CEO of Cambridge Satchel Firm.
So, I used to be completely thrilled and overwhelmed once I received the award!
For me, it is a notably particular award as a result of there are so few accolades celebrating feminine entrepreneurs in manufacturing.
I consider that manufacturing is definitely some of the inventive issues you are able to do – to bodily create one thing from nothing.
Nevertheless it comes with its challenges – manufacturing may be tough, particularly as it’s important to scale up, it requires an actual dedication to the trigger.
For us right here at Pai, it’s a labour of affection and to have that recognised is unimaginable!
